Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: August 2026 (template)

DoorCall AI exists to help legitimate garage-door service businesses answer their customers. You may not use the service to:

Deception and impersonation

  • Configure the receptionist to deny being an AI or to impersonate a specific real person.
  • Remove or materially undermine required AI or recording disclosures.
  • Misrepresent your business identity, licensing, or affiliation to callers.

Unlawful communications

  • Place or facilitate robocalls, cold-call campaigns, or telemarketing. The service answers inbound calls and places only customer-initiated callbacks and test calls.
  • Send SMS without consent, ignore opt-outs, or send marketing disguised as transactional messages (see TCPA and related regulations).
  • Record calls without legally required consent in your jurisdictions.

Abuse and fraud

  • Harass, threaten, or defraud callers, or collect payment card data through the voice agent.
  • Probe, scan, or breach the service's security or another tenant's data.
  • Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.
  • Use the service for emergency dispatching or life-safety response.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate workspaces that violate this policy, immediately in the case of unlawful activity or risk to callers. Report abuse to abuse@doorcall.example.
